Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@homecareevernest.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Companions for the elderly provide comfort and friendship by spending meaningful time getting to know them. Our health care aides connect with clients through hobbies, conversation, reminiscing, going out for tea or coffee, or just sitting together.

At HomeCare Evernest, we look at home care in a completely holistic way, so our health care aides may be providing senior care, 24-7 care, or in facility care services or more in conjunction with the companionship they provide. Our registered nurse care managers get to know you during our free in-home consultations so that they can build a custom care plan that fits you and your needs.

The main duty of a home companion is to provide friendship and to build a relationship with the person they’re caring for. This bond is formed by spending meaningful time together, enjoying hobbies, and having conversations. However, as all of our caregivers are professional health care aides, they can also provide a number of other services depending on what’s best for the person who needs care.

To start services with us, you can call us at 204 312 0532 and we will schedule an initial assessment with one of our care coordinators.
